I know fandom is Srs Bsns and all, but I have two things that I would like to see happen in some weird alt-crack universe.
1. Samuel L. Jackson for Eleven!
2. Donna Noble, Retconner!
Seriously. Donna Noble needs to travel back in time and be a guidance counselor at Sunnydale High. Search your heart. You know it to be true. And, well, come on. Who doesn't want to hear "REVERSE THE MOTHERFUCKIN POLARITY OF THE MOTHERFUCKIN NEUTRON FLOW" at least once? And a sonic screwdriver with 'Bad Motherfucker' engraved on it? WIN.
(I saw Iron Man yesterday. It gave me ideas.)

Happy Mother's Day to all of you who are mothers, all of you who have mothers, and all of you who think "mother" is half a word!
KC made the Sunday (whack-a-can) cinnamon rolls today and a lot of coffee, and tonight we're grilling chicken and having corn on the cob, baked beans, salad, and probably corn muffins, which is a lot of corn products but I do love my corn muffins and anyway it is all just a vehicle for butter. I went for my walk and Adam is napping and Leah is across the street and it's just a lovely day.
I hope yours is exactly what you wanted, too!

The Doctor loves Rose, and he's figured out how much. Empirically. Hilarious!

Sorry, folks, this is a squee zone. You have found one of those dreadful people who...likes all the characters. (In Torchwood, too. I heart Gwen and Owen. BOO YA!) And Donna owns my soul...did that Comic Relief sketch with Lauren Cooper pre- or post-date Runaway Bride?
( Some scrambled thoughts on Partners in Crime. Do not enter if squee makes your heart hurt. Also, spoilers. )
Also, I am so ashamed. I was looking for Dalek stuff for Leah, and found a TARDIS icebucket. So I bought it. Now it is on my sideboard to balance out KC's fire hydrant liquor dispenser. We can make you the dorkiest scotch on the rocks in history, if you are so inclined. Hee.

Everyone and their brother is reccing this vid:
What About Everything II, by Calapine.
There's a reason for that. Multi-doctor, multi-fabulous. A new version of a vid she did some time ago, apparently, though I never got to see the first one! Between this vid and the amusing UNIT recruitment video that someone posted somewhere, I have fallen to Pertwee without a shot being fired. (Also, I have realized that thanks to PBS, Tom Baker is my doctor, despite my barely remembering a goddamn thing about a single episode I ever watched in those days.)
I'm sure there's some flist crossover, so apologies if I am repeating your rec or if you've read a zillion posts about this, but even people who aren't particularly Who-happy (most of my list! hee!) will heart this. I swear. Watch! Love!

This probably should not have made me laugh as much as it did. The dude in "Before He Cheats" gets his own verse (NSFW! Naughty words ahead!):

( Rambly incoherent spoilers within... )
In other news, I keep referring to Russell Davies as Russell Simmons. Is it wrong that I'd love to see what that show would look like? Especially if Kimora Lee showed up?

I was telling Tug about Torchwood when he was over the other night (a discussion of TV in general), and he says, "so, are these people really actually hot, or are they sci-fi hot? Like, is this more of your 'I'm so weird I'll bang John Malkovich' thing?"
I find a picture of John Barrowman on Google Images.
"Oh." Pause. "Yeah, I'll give you that one."
(Then we got on the topic of BBC in general, and then I found the Orlando Bloom clip from Graham Norton, and now Tug will randomly call me and shout "EAT SHIT JESSICA, IT'S CARROT!" I am never, ever, pointing that kid toward JF.)
